We are a small mipendleton singers photoxed voice choir who sing a varied repertoire, mostly a capella but sometimes with piano or other instrumental accompaniment. We rehearse each Thursday evening in Pendleton Village Hall from 7.30 p.m. – 9.30 p.m. except during school holidays and perform three or four concerts each year, often on behalf of local community organisations. We would welcome new singers in all voices.

We aim to sing for pleasure – our own and our audiences’!

Valley Gigs

Valley Gigs has evolved from the Great Days organisation which has been actively involved in bringing music and the performing to Clitheroe over the last fifteen years. The organisation consists of a small group of volunteers who meet regularly to plan events mainly in the month of May based in Clitheroe. We are funded by local authority and arts grants and by a limited amount of fund-raising. Valley Gigs is mainly concerned with World and Folk music, local choirs and dance sides and for the last three years has organised a busking competition on the streets of Clitheroe.

Our organising group is small and friendly and welcomes volunteers from all sections of the community. We have a comprehensive set of sound equipment and experience in putting on music events. Members of our group have contacts with many local musicians and can help you put on a fund-raising event or help organise events such as Ceilidhs or barn dances.
